Coding from my phone is absurd

I’ve been using Claude Code, and to a lesser extent Codex, from my phone, and it is genuinely game-changing.

I’m very late to this, obviously. But this is really awesome.

I just switch on my laptop, open a bunch of sessions, and then no matter where I am — at a coffee shop, out for a walk, whatever — I can quickly tell Claude or Codex to do something, check the progress, start something new, and move on.

It is kind of crazy that this is even possible in 2026.

Just think about the sheer absurdity of what is happening here. People will hate me for using this term, but there are intelligent agents at my disposal which I can prompt from the comfort of my phone, and they will go away and write code that is better than what a lot of programmers can write.

And all of this is being done by a person who doesn’t know C++ or JavaScript from idli vada and vangi bath.

Do you see the irony here?

And yet people are still arguing over whether LLMs are useful, whether they are good or bad, whether they “really” do this or that, and so on and so forth.

The gulf between people who have figured out how to get actual utility out of these models and people who are still making these abstract arguments about whether LLMs are good or bad is just nuts.
